"I Love" Sunday's v.85
Hey there dearest Dreamers!
I hope this post finds you well. I know that it's been a little while since I've done one (like since the start of the month), but there has been a lot going on and I haven't been feeling well. That being said, I'm getting better and let's get to it.
** Monday was Lee's birthday and although he wasn't here to celebrate, a lot of people still wished him a happy birthday and let him know they were thinking about him. I know that helps a lot when you're stuck at JRTC.
** Although school technically started on Saturday (.... I didn't know we had Saturday classes), my classes didn't technically start until Tuesday since Monday was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Amy, Memphis, and I took advantage of everyone having the day off and we went to our local Omni theater and watched two movies! Omni Theaters plays movies later then regular places at a discounted price (so I spent $4 on tickets total for 2 movies). We saw Mrs. Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children and Trolls. After that we had Moe's dinner, which we haven't done in a while.
** Tuesday started my Spring semester of classes, which is when I realized just how difficult this semester is going to be. Luckily, my friend Jakki and I are in most of the same classes so we aren't alone.
** We had family dinner Tuesday night as well. Although it felt weird without Lee being there with me, I still managed to have a decent time. Memphis' girlfriend joined us as did one of Amy's coworkers and we had fun playing Uno. I only made it through one of the games before I got tired of the trash talk, but it was alright.
** Although Lee went into the box this week for the more intense training, we've still gotten to talk more then I expected we would be able to. It makes it a little easier then if we couldn't talk at all. We've been able to make some plans for when he comes home for a weekend trip to be able to celebrate being married. It helps him a lot too (his words) because it's a distraction from the bologna and he's feeling homesick.
